Fruitport Schedule and reminder
All:
We are less than one week away from the Fruitport Qualifier. If you have not completed the transportation questionnaire we do need this completed in the next couple of days. https://forms.gle/DbkuyP7Z1VY3P2Wa6
Food signup is looking good with only a few open items remaining. If you are able to help that would be great. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Ol0eLOWaj_A_RmQLk9XsPws0-YWB9W4ILcObhgS5Q4A/edit?usp=sharing
Below is the agenda for the weekend. If you student does not know if they need to be there then they do not need to be. If riding in the school provided transportation students need to meet Coach Maynard at the Middle School parking lot at 5am on Saturday. Return time will be based on when the competition is complete and we can reach out to let parents know when that will be (or the student can). If bringing your student they do need to be at the venue by 7am on Saturday. The event is held at the Fruitport High School (357 N. Sixth Ave., Fruitport, MI).

The event is still looking for some volunteers. If you are able to volunteer we would greatly appreciate it. As a reminder we are required to have one volunteer from each team at every event that we attend. This helps the events run smoothly for everyone and is a great way to learn more about the program and be involved with it. Roles can be as simple as sitting at a table to monitor for safety glass usage to more advanced things like inspecting robots. Some roles do require some online training that needs to be done ahead of time. Please feel free to complete the volunteer information in the FIRST dashboard selecting the Fruitport FTC event. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me.
Thanks
